#Growyourvoice Contest
In celebration of NNSW 2017’s theme #Growyourvoice BCCNA wants to know how B.C. nursing students use their voices. Winners of this contest will have the opportunity to attend the 2018 Canadian Nursing Student’s National Conference in Nanaimo, B.C from January 20 - 24. Funding includes conference registration, travel, meals and accommodations

Who can apply?

  • Any nursing student who is enrolled and in good standing* in one of B.C.'s nursing programs including LPN, RN, RPN and NP programs.

Selection Criteria:

Every student remembers that moment when they found the courage to use their voice. It may have been to advocate for a patient, colleague, health care issue or standing up for what you know is right. Describe a significant moment in your learning journey where you found your voice. You can submit a story, picture, video, picture or other creative means to describe your experience. Applicants will be selected by committee based on the merits of your chosen entry that highlights how you found your voice and the impact this had on you and your nursing.

Applications closed on January 5th, 2018 at 5pm.

Please feel free to direct any questions to dtisdale@arnbc.ca.
